Welcome to the Independent American Patriots (IAP) Private Membership Association (PMA), a vibrant community dedicated to preserving liberty, self-sufficiency, and community resilience. As of July 10, 2025, we have completed a historic transformation from a political party to a Private Membership Association, ratified unanimously by our members at the Members Convention. Below, we outline what this change means for you, the updates to our membership structure, and how you can continue to be part of our mission to uphold the principles of our Founding Fathers.
Our Transformation to a Private Membership Association
The Independent American Patriots has reorganized from the National Independent American Party into a Private Membership Association (PMA), a significant step to align with our core values of independence and self-governance. This transition, finalized on July 10, 2025, allows us to operate exclusively within the private domain, protected by the First and Fourteenth Amendments of the U.S. Constitution, as affirmed by landmark cases such as NAACP v. Alabama (357 U.S. 449, 1958) and Thomas v. Collins (323 U.S. 516, 1945).
What This Means for You
As a PMA, the IAP operates as a private, member-driven entity, free from undue government interference. This structure empowers us to:
- Protect Member Privacy: Your membership and activities are safeguarded, ensuring confidentiality and autonomy.
- Foster Community Resilience: We focus on grassroots initiatives, such as private town halls, promoting self-sufficiency and cottage industry development.
- Uphold Constitutional Principles: Our operations honor gold and silver as constitutional currency, support fair elections, and minimize bureaucracy, aligning with the Three Patriot Pillars—Calling of Independence, Tenets of Liberty, and Doctrine of Governance.
This shift allows us to build a stronger, more resilient community, unencumbered by the constraints of traditional party politics, as inspired by George Washington’s warnings against partisan divisiveness in his Farewell Address.
New Membership Structure and Changes
To support our mission and ensure the sustainability of our community, we have updated our membership structure. All existing memberships will expire at the end of 2025, and we are transitioning to an all-paid model with new tiers designed to accommodate varying levels of involvement. Below are the key changes:
Membership Tiers
- Lifetime Membership:
- Cost: One-time payment of $500 or equivalent in .999 Silver Eagles or pure coinage.
- Benefits: Full voting rights, access to all PMA benefits, and recognition as a lifelong supporter of our mission.
- Note: Annual members who pay $50 per year will be granted Lifetime Membership status once their cumulative payments reach $500.
- Yearly Membership (Full Membership):
- Cost: $50 annually or equivalent in .999 Silver Eagles or pure coinage.
- Discount: New and existing members receive a $20 discount on their first-year membership, reducing the cost to $30 for 2026.
- Benefits: Full voting rights, access to educational resources, Private Town Halls, and the ability to propose agenda items for the Members’ Convention.
- Limited Privilege (Non-Voting) Membership:
- Cost: $12 per calendar year.
- Benefits: Access to select resources and events without voting rights, ideal for those seeking to engage with our community at a lower commitment level.
Transition from the Previous Membership Model
Previously, our community consisted of three levels: Paid Members, the Mailing List (comprising former party members or patriots), and a general audience. To strengthen our focus on active member participation and ensure the financial stability of the PMA, we are moving to an all-paid model:
- Expiration of Current Memberships: All existing Paid Member memberships will expire on December 31, 2025. To continue enjoying full benefits, members must renew under the new Yearly or Lifetime Membership tiers.
- Discount for All Members: Both existing and new members are eligible for the $20 discount on the first-year Yearly Membership, making it only $30 for 2026.
- Mailing List Changes: The general mailing list, previously used for former members and interested parties, will continue but will diminish in importance. The members-only mailing list will now be the primary channel for critical updates, including meeting access information, convention details, and exclusive resources. Only paid members (Lifetime, Yearly, or Limited Privilege) will have access to this vital communication.

The shift to an all-paid model ensures that the IAP PMA can sustain its operations, provide valuable resources, and maintain our commitment to transparency and member-driven governance. Your dues support:
- Educational programs, such as Patriot Firesides, focus on self-sufficiency topics.
- The organization of Private Town Halls to foster local civic engagement.
- Financial transparency through quarterly reports and annual audits.
- The maintenance of our new Wyoming office at 30 N Gould St., Ste #53206, Sheridan, WY 82801, and our operational infrastructure.
