IAP’s Survival Cry – Charge In or Watch It Fall!

My Fellow Patriots,

I write this letter with a heavy heart but with complete honesty.

After 32 years of fighting for constitutional principles—first as the Independent American Party and now as the Independent American Patriots Private Membership Association—we are facing the real possibility that we will not be able to continue past the first quarter of 2026.

The facts are simple and brutal:

– Our monthly operating cost is $120 (website, phone, email system, virtual office address).

– Our annual fixed costs are approximately $1,200 (MailerLite, domain renewals, etc.).

– Total yearly need: roughly $2,900.

– Current balance: less than $400.

That gives us fewer than 90 days unless something changes dramatically.

Leslie and I have personally carried many of these expenses for the last two years while I have been President and, in her capacity, as National Secretary.  We have also put our publishing company on hold and have pulled publication of THE PAMPHLET to devote our time to this endeavor.  As a disabled veteran on a fixed income and with a family to feed, I can no longer do it.  We have reduced the organization to the absolute bare bones while trying to be responsive to our members’ wishes; there is nothing left to cut.

We have reached out multiple times this year asking for help. The response has been almost complete silence. Not one member has stepped forward to help us acquire the remaining bookstore inventory that could have kept us afloat.  Only a handful of paid memberships have come in during the last three renewal drives, and while we have had some good months this year, not one of them has covered the month’s expenses, and we have crept backwards each month.

This is not a criticism of any of you, as President of the Association, the buck stops with me.  These are the hardest economic times most of us have ever seen.  Food, fuel, and housing have become luxuries for many American families.  I understand completely, I live it every day.

But the reality is this: if the members who remain do not choose to keep the IAP alive with their financial support, then it will die.

We need roughly $2,900 to make it through 2026. That is $2.42 per member if every one of our 1,200 remaining contacts contributed. Or $29 each if only 100 of us decide it is worth saving.

I will not hand this crisis off to someone else. If we cannot raise the funds to continue, I will call for a vote of dissolution in January 2026 and personally ensure all remaining assets are distributed according to our governing documents.

This is the moment of truth for the Independent American Patriots.  We know our Constitution hangs by but a thread, and now we know that the survival of the IAP hangs by a thread as well.

If you believe this organization is still worth fighting for—if you believe there are still Americans who need to hear the message of constitutional liberty, sound money, self-sufficiency, and resistance to tyranny—then please step forward now.

Ways to help:

– $12/year – Limited Privilege membership (keeps you informed)

– $50/year – Full membership (voting rights, Founding Father status for new joiners)

– $500 – Lifetime membership

Or any amount you can spare. Every dollar counts.

If we cannot meet our obligations by the end of this year, we will have to turn off the lights. But if even a fraction of you choose to stand with us, we will keep the flame burning for another year—and perhaps turn the corner.

This is not goodbye yet. This is a call to arms.

With gratitude for every year we have fought together, and hope that we will fight many more,

Lonny Ray Williams

President
